Busy Busy Day

Ok so yesterday I had the day off. It sounded great at the time but by the end of the day I was so tired! I was non stop all day. I woke up around 9:30 and got ready for my adventure. One I was ready me and my dad went to have lunch. That was really nice because we never get to go to lunch anymore since we work across town from one another. After we were done eating I went to go visit Donna. I was going to go get my books for school but I knew I wouldn't have time to go up to Bentonville before my doctors appointment. I visited with her at her office for about 30 minutes then went to my appointment. This was the appointment I was not looking forward to because it is the one where I was going to have to schedule a time to take my wisdom tooth out. Not fun! So While I was at the doctors office the doctor told me that I was 1 out of 3 people he has ever seen with only 1 wisdom tooth. I told him I was special. Well I guess my appointment is going to be September 5 at 9:30. :( Anyways, after I left there I had to go to Whitney's house because she forgot her car seat and she was up in Bella Vista to get her little girl Hope. So I had to drive all the way up there to give that to her. Once I did that I finally went to the bookstore. That was a nightmare! It was sooo busy. I guess everyone had the same idea I did with getting books. So for me to have 3 classes my total for books were $423!!! My mouth about hit the floor. That was even with some of them being used. After I recovered from that episode I had to go to Old Navy and the mall to return some stuff. That made me feel a little bit better. I decided at that point that I might as well go to Wal-Mart and buy school stuff. So that is done with. I do feel good about that. So I thought my day was over because I had ran all my errands. All wrong! When I got home I ate dinner and then my mom wanted to go shopping. I of course said ok. We soon left and ended up going to Kohl's and some other stores. We tried on I think about every pair of jeans and pants all the stores had. Guess how many we ended up buying? None of them. The only thing we bought the whole night was a shirt. Just 1 shirt for the whole night. We got home around 9:30 finally! So I had a very bust day. I loved the fact that I didn't have to go to work and I got all my stuff done but it was very tiring. To top everything off I could not sleep at all last night. I tossed and turned the entire night. It was horrible. So I am really tired today! All right I guess that is enough about my yesterday. Lost Puppy

On Wednesday a coworker went to Sonic to get us some half price drinks. Little did we know he was going to bring back two dogs. They were the cutest things ever! One was a westie and the other was a mix but she was sooo cute. Dave ended up taking the mix dog home which by the end of the afternoon her name was Molly. The westie was a boy and I named him Bentley. I ended up taking him home but my parents said we could not keep him because we already have three. Bentley was so cute though because anything you told him to do he would do it. So we all knew that he belonged to somebody. On Thursday Dave and I called everywhere searching for his parents. Wednesday night me and my parents drove all around Tontitown looking for his home. Bentley got to hang out at the bank all day long yesterday because I didn't want to leave him with my dogs because I didn't know how my other dogs would get along with him all day long with nobody else there. Well this morning I woke up and I had a missed call from the Harps general office. I thought this was kinda of weird because I have not worked there in over two years. So while I was driving to work I called the lady back and she said the westie was her dog. She was soo surprised when I said we found both of her dogs. We talked for a little bit and decided she would just pick her dogs up at the bank. Well a couple of minutes later she called me bank and asked me what my last name was. So I told her and she said we were related! Shocker! She is my great grandmothers sons daughter. So she started talking about my mom and how it has been forever since we have seen each other. Small world to think that we found these cute dogs and it end up that I am related to them. If anyone knows my family we are very small so the fact that I knew them was surprising. I was really glad that they found their home where they belong. I know it was a relief to know that her babies were safe and not in danger. We at the bank were talking and Bentley was going to go to a family that lives in Little Rock because nobody could take him here. Now she was really sad when we called her today and said she couldn't have him but she was glad they have their old home back. For Molly we didn't have a family for her but I'm sure Dave would have ended up keeping her because all of his animals are strays. Sunshine!

This week as been very uneventful. Not much has gone on at all! I hate weeks like this because it seems like time just creeps by. Today is Lora's birthday! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!! We are all going to go out to eat tomorrow night at Granite City Grill. That place is sooo good. Nice pick Lora! So that should be a blast because it was the last time we all got together. Tonight I am going to Jose's. The one in Springdale have $3 frozen margaritas on Wednesdays! My favorite use to be the margarita swirl kind but I have found a new favorite thanks to Lydia and Tacara. Its mango!! It is the all time favorite now.

I had a great past weekend. On Friday I went to Downstream casino with my parents. Its the new casino that opened right around Joplin. I like it because its new and it does not smell like stale cigarette smoke. Of course I lost all of my money. I didn't take much though. My mom on the other hand won $250. So she was super excited. On Saturday I had to work but that was ok because it was only til noon. After that me and Taylor went shopping for Amanda wedding shower gift. I was out and about all day Saturday. Not a very good day at all to be pouring outside!! Later that night I went to On the Mark in Fayetteville. It was a lot of fun. It was a lot better than I thought it was going to be. The UFC fighting stuff was on so everyone there was yelling and screaming at the tv. Sunday was the best day! I didn't do much at all! I never get to do that so when the opportunity comes available I take it. It was so nice not to have to worry about everything.

I need to take all of this spare time in because its about to end. In two weeks I start school again. My life is going to be very busy when it starts because I still am going to be working full time. I am going to be taking 9 hours at school which will happen when I get off of work on Mondays and Wednesdays. Its going to stink! I like it busy though because my life is never boring. Always on the go. I just wish that I was finished with school already!
